About Us

We enjoy a challenge and making things that are a little bit out there and different, or turning something old and run down into something shiny and new.

Upholstery Workshop is owned and operated by Nate and Chris Hedwig. Two brothers originally from Nelson, that now call Queenstown home.

Nate has been a Queenstown local since 2001 after moving here for a winter and then never leaving. Chris Moved permanently in 2015 after a few seasons between here and Norway.

Away from work we’re both involved in the local ice hockey community, with Chris being a goalie for a number of Queenstown teams and Nate playing a little, as well as being equipment manager for the SkyCity Stampede and NZ IceBlacks

You can find Nate on the golf course most Sundays, or Chris out hiking in the hills somewhere.
